World Information Architecture Day 2014

World Information Architecture Day 2014

World Information Architecture Day (WIAD) is all about bringing together information architecture and user experience. On 15 February 2014, UX Passion held the first ever WIAD in Croatia. At the same time our friends from the community organised the same event in 23 different cities across the globe. Here, in Zagreb, we created a one-day event where experience and knowledge of all things UX was shared.

We gathered seven speakers and they delivered six inspiring and thought-provoking presentations, from container models as an approach for web-design to panel discussion covering typical career paths and UX processes. You should take a look at all conference videos from the event and our commentary and be a part of WIAD.

World Design Days – GetAway!

World Design Days – GetAway!

We are (too) often stuck at our desks. To make sure that our ideas stay fresh and our creative juices flowing, we decided to celebrate World Design Days on 12 & 13 April 2013. We planned two full days of fun, design and great outdoors. To celebrate the cooperative and communal nature of design we kick started the event with a co-working session at Lauba. The next day we retreated to the picturesque Zagorje (hilly, semi-mountainous area just north of Zagreb) to Kuchica.

Our creative escape in Mother Nature, coupled with a BBQ, off-screen games and wonderful people translated into fun and exciting evening that lasted well into the morning for those among us who were able to stay on their feet. Don’t forget Mother Nature - the ultimate source of inspiration!
