New Office 2010 will be released during the June 2010 – at least that’s what Microsoft is telling us now. CTP has been out for a while, beta version is now out as well, and now polish website CentrumXP is reporting that Office 2010 new box art has been released. And here are the boxshots and new icons.

Several days ago I’ve received message with link to the InsideRIA. Mike Slinn of the InsideRIA has posted interesting article about job trends regarding Silverlight, Flex and JavaFX. If you go to the Indeed webpage and search for these keywords, you might be surprised. Here are some really interesting facts.

It is not a secret that Microsoft is developing its own WPF ribbon control. By default it will support Office 2007 (Fluent) user interface style and newer, Scenic Ribbon for Windows 7. I’ve blogged about this and now let’s take a look at changes planned for V1 and when can we expect it.

Expression Studio 3 and all tools (Blend 3, Web 3, Design 3 and Encoder 3) now have new logos, large, beautiful icons and visual identity – in one word – branding. Take a look at the collection of new logotypes, brand new icons and other branding elements. Basic colors and related visual identities have been preserved, though.

Number of improvements, targeting Silverlight 3 and rich designer experience are just some of the coolest additions.
