It is not a secret – I am big fan of Bing and I am using it on daily basis now. As a Microsoft guy I’ve had a chance to test drive it while it was called Kumo – and now my friend Domagoj Pavlešić has created nice service allowing you to compare search results between Google and Bing.
Domagoj is guy behind Dizzy.hr web development company, guy who is into all things web related ever since Internet and web as such has appeared in Croatia and honestly – it was quite expected from him to come up with something so simple and again so useful.
I am happy to share his Bing vs Google service with you. Also, he has created nice search provider that can be added to your browser and provide you with search results from both search engines simultaneously – Bing and Google.
I like the option of being able to simultaneously scroll both search results. Domagoj has decided to play on safe card of “powerfully simple” (I hear this phrase all the time in my UX Team in Microsoft) and it seems to be working his UI is very simple, though I would suggest having larger search field and somewhat centred it, but hey… It was something done really quickly and I to works.
So, go ahead and give it a try. Feel free to post your comments on this article, Domagoj will be coming around and I am sure he will be able to respond (right Domagoj?).
Right.
Thanks for the post.
