Free video series “Principles of design: Balance”
If you are developer and looking for some design principles you are at the right place. I will publish bunch of videos outlining design principles for developers. I am starting today with video explaining you the design principle of balance. Silverlight required for best experience.
These days developers are often in need to play roles of designers. However, they often lack even basic design education. My colleague from Microsoft, Arturo Toledo has created nice collection of videos dealing exactly with that – teaching developers some basic design principles.
We agreed that it would be cool to publish those videos here at UXPassion.com in Silverlight format for your enjoyment, so here are they. I will publish bunch of videos outlining basic design principles like balance, rhythm, symmetry… After that we will go step further and show you how to design icons and number of other cool things with Expression Design.
Though these videos are targeted at developers, designers could also benefit from them because they are simple, easy to understand and they are outlining number of general principles and capabilities of tools like Expression Design.

Hi Vatroslav, truth be told – I have not got chance to play with PRISM a lot. But one of my projects that is currently in pipeline will probably benefit from PRISM at some point so I will be eager to publish my experiences with that. Did you get chance to do anything with PRISM?
