UXPassion.com has “officially” been launched on September 9, 2008. Beginning of the new year is good opportunity to look back and share statistics and interesting details as well as give you some insight on what direction UXPassion.com will take in 2009. Also, there is a call to action for you as a reader.
As I just mentioned, all data shown in this statistics will represent the time span from September 9, 2008 up to December 31, 2008. I am taking UXPassion.com as a blog very seriously and I am tracking all data I can collect from various sources on a daily basis. I have developed my personal scorecard and I am using it as a tool for helping me direct this blog, its content and any future plans.
In that period UXPassion.com has been visited 95,478 times and visitors came from 132 countries.
I am really thankful and proud to see average growth rate of 58% on month-by-month basis.
Top 10 countries: United States, Croatia, United Kingdom, India, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Australia, Serbia and Poland.
You prefer Firefox over Internet Explorer (45,67% vs 37,47%) but you also use Opera (7,78%), Chrome (6,94%) and Safari (1,60%).
Regarding the operating systems – 95,53% of you use Windows, Mac users are here also at 2,96% and Linux guys are third with 1,23%. Interesting fact – about 0,1% users use iPhone to visit UXPassion.com! Regarding screen resolutions – 99,8% have screen resolutions 1024 x 768 or higher. It seems that with 22,33% resolution of 1280×1024 is the most popular. Regarding Flash support – 96% of you have some version of Flash player installed – 41,5% use newest Flash 10! When it comes to Java, 86,88% of our visitors have it installed. I don’t have any data on Silverlight yet, sorry.
