My dear friend and colleague, one of the finest Dynamics consultants in Europe, Vjekoslav Babić, has published his first book called Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 together with David Roys. Let me share my feelings about this great book with you.
For the past 8 months Vjeko was working hard on his first book titled Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. Now, at the end of the year Vjeko Babić and David Roys have made it public – book can be pre-ordered from PACKT publishing.
Why am I sharing this information on UXPassion.com – blog that is more related to UX (user experience), WPF, Silverlight and Expression technologies? Well, there is more than just one reason – Vjeko is great friend of mine and it is always nice to seize the opportunity and spread a word about job great done especially when your friends are the one involved. Second thing is the fact that I am currently working at Microsoft as part of Dynamics User Experience team here in Copenhagen and Vjeko is putting significant emphasis on user experience, not just in Microsoft Dynamics products but in other, too.
That being said, I am thrilled to see Vjeko and David discussing new RoleTailored user experience and RoleTailored client in their book, but they are not stopping there… They go and talk about Customer Model, roles, configuration…
Of course, since Vjeko is consultant (currently employed by Microsoft Consulting Services in Zagreb, Croatia), he is putting significant emphasis on topics like implementation approaches, tips and tricks and even sample application.
So, wait no more – if you are consultant, someone interested in Dynamics NAV 2009, beginner in this field, expert or just a someone who is looking for perfect present for a friend who might be interested in this book, then share this information with them and get yourself a book. Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 is definitely one of the books I will be studying these days even deeper so you can expect post or two i future.
At the end, Vjeko, sincere congratulations. I am ready for new portion of Domaćicas and Bajaderas, you know what you have to do and you know when/where/how to find me in Zagreb during this holiday season
