Tough in PC market searches Google and Yahoo! are controlling more than 80 percent in the U.S. search market, situation in mobile search market is not so bad for Microsoft and it is expected that Microsoft will strengthen its positions in this market so – with this BlackBerry agreement, things my get even better.
This is what guys from Live Search for Mobile are saying:
Live Search for BlackBerry is the best way to find key local information when you’re on the go. Whether you’re traveling for business, shopping around town, or planning your night out, you can quickly find businesses and restaurants, get turn by turn driving directions, and view it all on interactive maps.
It is expected to see significant increase on advertising spending on mobile-phone search market. This year it was about $244 million, and by 2011 it is expected to reach $2.35 billion – at least that is what guys from EMarketer Inc. are saying.
Also, new BlackBerry phone is to be expected – it will be called BlackBerry Bold and it is hoped to steer corporate e-mail users away from Apple’s iPhone.
